Jillian Smith, M.Sc, R.SLP (C)

Jillian is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC). She completed her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MScSLP) at the University of Alberta. In summer 2020, she returned to her hometown of Parksville, B.C. where she now lives with her husband and two cats. She is constantly grateful for having the opportunity to live and work in the sea-side town where she grew up – surrounded by family, friends, and natural wonders. In her spare time, Jillian enjoys hiking, cooking, gardening, and crafting. Jillian sees private clients alongside her work as a school district SLP.

Jillian uses holistic, evidence-based therapy to support individuals with their communication goals, including improving quality of life and independence.

“A career in speech-language pathology challenges you to use your intellect (the talents of your mind) in combination with your humanity (the gifts in your heart) to do meaningful work that feeds your soul.”
